High Surf Advisory For Los Angeles County Beaches: NWS
Swimmers and inexperienced surfers are advised to stay out of the water at Los Angeles County Beaches through Thursday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — High surf means that swimmers and inexperienced surfers should stay out of the water at Los Angeles County beaches through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
The hazardous conditions will last through Thursday morning, according to NWS. The advisory applies to the Malibu coast, Ventura County beaches, LA County beaches and Catalina and Santa Barbara Islands.
Waves will reach between four and seven feet, reaching their peak on south facing beaches, NWS said. The beaches will have strong rip currents, which creates an increased risk of drowning.
