1) L.A. City Council Scandal Update: The fallout continues. On Wednesday morning, Black Lives Matter - L.A. and the L.A. Tenants Union told the acting council president “to shut down all meetings until Martinez, Cedillo and de Leon resign.” Because it was impossible to conduct business, the meeting was adjourned until Friday. (Kate Cagle)

2) There was an armed robbery in the 1200 block of Olive Street on Wednesday morning at 12:30 a.m. Four suspects ranging in age from 18 to 25 years got away with several luxury items. They drove a black Audi sedan. (KTLA)

3) On Tuesday, a man was alleged to have kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 14-year-old in an El Sereno Park bathroom. He reportedly walked up to the child and threatened them with a weapon to get compliance. On Wednesday, the LAPD took a suspect into custody. (KFI)

4) We’re number 172!? WalletHub has ranked the safest cities. It looked at 182 cities and considered natural disaster risks, traffic accidents, and how well the cities protect residents against crime. Los Angeles comes in at number 172. The least safe city was St. Louis, Missouri. On the other end of the spectrum was Columbia, Maryland. (Fox)
