LA Driver Ran Down Cyclist On Purpose And Fled The Scene: Police
A Los Angeles County man was arrested for deliberately striking a bicyclist with his car in Fullerton then fleeing, police said.

FULLERTON, CA — A 22-year-old Los Angeles County man suspected of intentionally hitting a bicyclist with his car in Fullerton before fleeing was arrested Wednesday.
Christian Diaz, of West Covina, was booked into the Fullerton City Jail on suspicion of attempted murder, police said.
Fullerton police officers were dispatched at around 1:30 p.m. on July 22 regarding a vehicle versus pedestrian crash near Harbor Boulevard and Orangethorpe Avenue, according to the Fullerton Police Department.

The 31-year-old victim was struck by a Dodge Challenger and taken to a hospital, police said. He has since been released, police said.
