La Nena Cantina is Hollywood's Newest Coastal-inspired Mexican Restaurant
La Nena Cantina's weekly taco and margarita specials, plus great Hollywood location is a hot spot for those seeking authentic Mexican fare.
La Nena Cantina is led by restauranteur Vicente Del Rio, known for his successful Frida Mexican Cuisine and related concepts. He is President and CEO of Hospitality 70 Group, and recently opened the first La Nena Cantina in Malibu, before opening a second location in Hollywood.
Atmosphere: It's part of a growing wave of restaurants with an exciting design-forward, coastal Tulum-style vibe. Del Rio hired Jagar Architecture, known for designing all of the Frida Restaurants, to create a pleasing environment that offers an earthiness with organic elements. Eye-catching clay walls with beautiful terracotta tiles, and natural-fiber basket lighting.
Cuisine Inspiration: Bold authentic coastal-inspired Mexican flavors paired with a creative cocktails and agave-drink program.

Mexican Inspired Cocktails: El Jefe made with Tequila, Espresso Shot, and Licor 43, El Sol Margarita made with Don Ramon Punta Diamante Tequila, OJ Reduction, and Lime Juice.
What To Order: Handmade tortillas + salsa flight with guacamole with a new Pomegranate Honey Margarita. Think fresh and citrusy ceviche, tostada salad, fajitas and are a variety of tacos that include a Taco Tasting plate. Tacos can be filled inside handmade corn tortillas, flour tortillas or lettuce wrap. There are a variety of mole and seafood dishes too. Finish with Churros served with whipped cream and a chocolate dipping sauce or tres leches cake.

Pre-Theater Dinner: A lively and fun culinary spot to go to for Pre-show or post-show dinners. Close to the Hollywood Pantages Theater not far from concert and other theater venues.
Weekly Specials At Hollywood Location: Monday Margarita all day in the bar area. A House Margarita is $8, a Classic Frozen, Strawberry or Mango is $9 each. Order a Cadillac, Skinny or Special Watermelon or Jalapeño for $10 each. The next day is Taco Tuesday all day in the bar area. Order Carne Asada, Grilled Chicken, Pastor, Carnitas and Chicken Mole tacos for $3.95 each. On Friday Nights, it's Mariachi Night
Locations: There are two La Nena Cantina locations: Malibu in the Point Dume Village and Hollywood in Columbia Square.
Hours: Open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 9 pm and Friday - Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm.
