LA Police Find Man Shot To Death In Vehicle
Authorities on Saturday were investigating a shooting that left a man dead in a car in the Melrose District.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Officials on Saturday were investigating a shooting that left one man dead inside a vehicle in the Melrose area of Los Angeles.
Authorities responded to a call of a possible murder around 6:20 a.m. in the area of North Orange Grove Avenue and Melrose Avenue, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
Arriving officers found a victim in his vehicle with a possible gunshot wound, officials said. He was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Residents in the area reported hearing two gunshots around 10 p.m. on Friday night but no one called the police.
The circumstances of the shooting were still unknown Saturday and the man was not publicly identified.
