LAPD Seeks 3 Suspects in Robbery of Downtown Jewelry Store

At least three male suspects robbed a jewelry store in downtown Los Angeles today and are still at large after fleeing in a white Mercedes.

LOS ANGELES -- At least three male suspects robbed a jewelry store in downtown Los Angeles today and sprayed mace during the theft.

Officers responded to the 700 block of Hill Street around 3:30 p.m. on a report of a robbery, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police said the suspects sprayed the mace inside the business before fleeing in a white Mercedes.

An estimated value of the jewelry taken from the store was not disclosed.

Detectives described one of the suspects as a 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a light blue hoodie with dark blue jeans.

The second suspect was said to be 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a white and blue hoodie with white lettering, according to police.

A third suspect was described as a male wearing a black baseball cap with a black sweater, police said.

All three suspects were last seen heading southbound on Hill Street in a white Mercedes.

No further information was immediately available.
