Major LA County Freeways To Be Closed Intermittently All Week

LOS ANGELES, CA — Several major Los Angeles County freeways and Pacific Coast Highway will close overnight this week for utility work, Caltrans announced.

The closures include the Ventura (101) Freeway in Encino, the San Diego (405) Freeway in Sepulveda Pass, and Long Beach (710) Freeway and Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach.

Motorists can expect delays, Caltrans warned.

The work will begin at 9 p.m. each night from Monday through Friday, and will end by 6 a.m. each morning. Those traveling along the following routes, ramps, and connectors will experience intermittent closures as follows:

U.S. Highway 101

• Northbound U.S. 101 connector to southbound I-405
• Southbound U.S. 101 connector to northbound I-405
• Southbound U.S. 101 connector to southbound I-405
• Two lanes on southbound U.S. 101 from Reseda Boulevard to Hayvenhurst Avenue
• Southbound Reseda Boulevard on-ramp to southbound U.S. 101

• Northbound I-405 connector to southbound I-710
• Multiple lanes on northbound I-405 from Wilshire Boulevard to U.S. 101
• Northbound I-405 off-ramp to Ventura Boulevard
• Ventura Boulevard on-ramp to northbound I-405
• Northbound I-405 connector to northbound U.S. 101
• Northbound I-405 connector to southbound U.S. 101
• Southbound I-405 connector to southbound I-710
• Southbound I-405 off-ramp to Getty Center Drive
• Getty Center Drive on-ramp to southbound I-405
• Southbound I-405 off-ramp to Skirball Center Drive/ Mulholland Drive
• Skirball Center Drive/ Mulholland Drive on-ramp to southbound I-405
• Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-405
• Multiple lanes on southbound I-405 from U.S. 101 to Getty Center Drive

Interstate 710

• Two lanes on northbound I-710 from Pacific Coast Highway to Wardlow Road
• Pacific Coast Highway on-ramp to northbound I-710
• Northbound I-710 off-ramp to eastbound Willow Street
• Eastbound Willow Street on-ramp to northbound I-710
• Northbound I-710 off-ramp to westbound Willow Street
• Westbound Willow Street on-ramp to northbound I-710
• Southbound I-710 off-ramp to northbound Pacific Coast Highway
• Two lanes of southbound I-710 from Wardlow Road to Pacific Coast Highway
• Southbound I-710 off-ramp to southbound Wardlow Road

• Right lane of northbound Pacific Coast Highway from I-710 to State Route 103
