Man Arrested In Killing Of Female Found Burned, Stabbed: LAPD

His bail was set at $2 million, police said.

LOS ANGELES — A man was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of a female found with stab and burn wounds at the scene of a Studio City apartment fire, according to police.

Willian Santos, 33, was booked with bail set at $2 million, police said.

Officers responded around 6:15 a.m. Friday to a call asking them to meet with fire department personnel in the 10300 block of Bellwood Avenue, according to police.

The fire department had responded to a blaze at an apartment and found the victim inside, police said, adding the female died at a local hospital.

Santos was arrested around 8 p.m. Friday in Lebec, according to police.
