Man Critically Burned In Playa del Rey Parking Lot Fire
A man was critically burned in a fire Tuesday morning.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A 50-year-old man was critically burned in a fire in Playa del Rey Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported at around 9:30 a.m. in a parking lot near Manchester and Gulana avenues. The fire was originally thought to have involved a vehicle, but it was in fact the man who was on fire, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Workers nearby spotted the flames and reported the fire.

The man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, the LAFD said.
It remains unclear how exactly the man caught fire. The incident is under investigation.
