Man Who Terrorized Neighbors With Slingshot Dies Days After Arrest: Reports
He was 81, according to police.
AZUSA, CA — An 81-year-old man who made headlines last week after police identified him as the person who’d been terrorizing an Azusa neighborhood for years with a slingshot has died, according to reports.
Prince Raymond King died mid-week and was pronounced after police responded to a wellness check request at a residence in the 500 block of Soldano Avenue, KTLA reported. The cause of death was arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
King was arrested May 23, according to police, after dozens of people in the 900 block of North Enid Avenue were subjected to broken windows and near misses at the hands of a slingshot shooter over the course of nine or 10 years.

A search warrant executed at King’s home had revealed ball bearings and a slingshot, police said.
