Miles Bridges' Wife Details Brutal Attack After NBA Star's LA Arrest
Miles Bridges' wife, Mychelle Johnson, shared graphic photos of the attack on her Instagram account showing bruises all over her body.

LOS ANGELES — The wife of Charlotte Hornets star Miles Bridges detailed a brutal attack that she said came at the hands of her husband, who was arrested in Los Angeles this week on a felony charge.
As Los Angeles Patch previously reported, Bridges, 24, was arrested around 2 p.m. Wednesday and booked into jail about three hours later. He was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge, the LAPD told media outlets.
Bridges was released on a $130,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court July 20.

Bridges' wife, Mychelle Johnson, shared graphic photos from the attack on her Instagram account showing bruises over her legs, arms, hands and head.
"I hate that it has come to this but I can’t be silent anymore," Johnson wrote in an Instagram post Thursday. "I’ve allowed someone to destroy my home, abuse me in every way possible and traumatize our kids for life. I have nothing to prove to the world, but I won’t allow anyone who could do something so horrible to have no remorse and paint a picture of something I’m not."

Johnson said she suffered a broken nose and wrist, torn eardrum, and torn neck muscles from being choked until she fell asleep. She said also suffered a severe concussion.
"I don’t need sympathy, I just don’t want this happening to anyone else, I just want this person to get help, my kids deserve better," Johnson said. "That’s all i want. It hurts, everything hurts, this situation hurts, most importantly I’m scared and hurting for my kids who were witness to everything."
TMZ Sports reported, citing anonymous law enforcement sources, that Bridges and his wife were in an argument that turned physical.
She required medical attention.
Bridges' arrest came several hours after the Hornets extended a qualifying offer to the 6-foot-6-inch forward.
He was drafted No. 12 overall in the 2018 NBA Draft out of Michigan State University. Over four years with the Hornets, he's averaged about 20 points, seven rebounds and just under four assists per game.
