Motorcycle Thief At Large After 2 Westside Apartment Garage Heists: LAPD
Police are looking for a man suspected of breaking into apartment garages and stealing motorcycles.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police on Tuesday asked for the public's help identifying a man wanted for stealing motorcycles from apartment garages on the Westside.
The first theft occurred at around 2:50 a.m. May 12 when the suspect entered a secured parking garage at an apartment complex on the 11000 block of Mississippi Avenue, just east of Sepulevda Boulevard in West Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers responded to the second theft at around 10:50 a.m. on May 18. The suspect entered a secure parking garage on the 10000 block of Rochester Avenue in Westwood and stole a motorcycle, police said.

The suspect connected to both thefts is describe das a 6-foot-tall man between 30 and 40 years old who weighs 190 pounds. He was most recently seen wearing a black motorcycle helmet, a tan and black jacket with black stripes on the sleeves, camouflage shorts, black pants and gloves.
At one point, he was also wearing a blue and gray Jansport Goshawk 40L hiking backpack.
