Charlotte Hornets Star Miles Bridges Arrested In LA On Felony Charge

Charlotte Hornets star forward Miles Bridges was arrested in Los Angeles on a felony charge Wednesday, court records show.

LOS ANGELES — Charlotte Hornets star forward Miles Bridges was arrested in Los Angeles on a felony charge Wednesday, court records showed.

Bridges, 24, was arrested around 2 p.m. Wednesday, and booked into jail about three hours later, according to online court records on the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He was arrested on a felony charge, but no details about the charge were immediately available.

He was released on a $130,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court July 20.

TMZ Sports reported, citing anonymous law enforcement sources, that Bridges was arrested on a domestic violence charge after a woman said she and Bridges were in an argument that turned physical. She required medical attention, according to TMZ.

Bridges' arrest came several hours after the Hornets extended a qualifying offer to the 6-foot-6-inch forward.

Bridges was drafted No. 12 overall in the 2018 NBA Draft out of Michigan State University. Over four years with the Hornets, he's averaged about 20 points, seven rebounds and just under four assists per game.
