Nordstrom Is Closing At This LA County Mall

"We believe we'll be best able to serve customers in the area by leveraging our surrounding stores and through our digital channels."

SANTA MONICA, CA — Nordstrom will shrink its footprint on the Westside in August when it closes its only Santa Monica store.

The store, located at 220 Broadway, opened in 2010 as an anchor at the then-new Santa Monica Place mall, located at the end of the Third Street Promenade.

"The store’s last day of business will be August 26. We believe we’ll be best able to serve customers in the area by leveraging our surrounding stores and through our digital channels," a Nordstrom spokesperson said.
