This NPR-Affiliate Is Hosting Outdoor Concerts Across LA County

LOS ANGELES, CA — California, in fact, does know how to party. And the party seems to just be getting started as KCRW, an NPR-affiliate station, is still hosting several free outdoor concerts across Los Angeles County over the next two months.

The KCRW Summer Nights series began in June with a 21+ kickoff party at Benny Boy Brewing & Cider House. But the rest of the schedule has been filled with musical experiences for people of all ages, including an upcoming Yo Gabba Gabba experience by DJ Lance Rock at the Kidspace Museum on Aug. 2.

"DJs, live bands, special exhibitions, food and libations, and tons of free fun," KCRW said about the event on its website. "It’s the perfect way to find music you love, discover something new, and connect with your community. Don’t miss out — grab your friends and experience LA like never before."

Here is the full schedule for the remaining outdoor concerts:

August

• KCRW Summer Nights with CAAM (Guest DJ Linafornia, KCRW DJ Tyler Boudreaux) — Aug. 1 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the California African American Museum. RSVP here.
