NYT Best Selling Author To Lead Temecula Valley Writers Workshop
Jonathan Maberry, an American suspense and horror author, will share how to write a compelling page-turner.

TEMECULA, CA — New York Times best-selling author Jonathan Maberry will lead a workshop on writing fight and action scenes on Sunday, Aug. 17, in Temecula.
The workshop, hosted by Temecula Valley Writers and Illustrators, is free and open to the public. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to being an award-winning author, Maberry is an 8th-degree black belt in jujutsu, with more than 60 years of experience as a martial artist.

"Making him the perfect speaker for sharing strategies on how to write riveting action scenes," the club shared in a news release.
Maberry is known for his award-winning suspense and horror writing. He's a 5-time Bram Stoker Award winner, a winner, 4-time Scribe Award winner, an Inkpot Award winner, an anthology editor, a writing teacher and a comic book writer. He has written more than 50 novels.

The free workshop will be held at Temecula City Hall in the Conference Room, 41000 Main Street. No RSVP is required.
