Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Metrolink Train

LOS ANGELES — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a Metrolink train Tuesday in the Pacoima neighborhood, according to authorities.

The incident occurred around 4 p.m. in the 9700 block of North San Fernando Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, which said the pedestrian was dead at the scene. No occupants of the train immediately reported injuries.
