Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Metrolink Train
The pedestrian was dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

LOS ANGELES — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a Metrolink train Tuesday in the Pacoima neighborhood, according to authorities.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. in the 9700 block of North San Fernando Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, which said the pedestrian was dead at the scene. No occupants of the train immediately reported injuries.
Tracks were closed between Sun Valley and Sylmar due to the crash, according to Metrolink, which directed travelers to expect delays on the Antelope Valley Line.
