Photo Recap: 2018 Beautycon Festival LA

LOS ANGELES, CA — Most likely, you have heard of the San Diego Comic-Con International, but have you ever heard of Beautycon, the convention that celebrates the power of beauty? Well, if you’re a beauty junkie, this is the place to be!

Founded in 2011 by Marina Curry, Beautycon began as a small-scale meet-up for a few beauty vloggers, bloggers, and influencers at the YouTube studio in Los Angeles. Since then, it has expanded its range of offerings including beauty panels and tutorials. Furthermore, the yearly event has added a New York venue to the mix for a bicoastal festival.

Both Beautycon festivals’ have enjoyed their skyrocketing success as they continue to draw in hundreds of thousands of attendees and an extensive celeb guest list, which includes Drew Barrymore, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Simpson, Snoop Dogg, and many more.

Most recently, Beautycon Festival LA took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 14 – July 15. And Patch was there to catch all the buzz and fever of the two-day event. Below are the photo highlights of the fest. Check them out!
