Police Search For 2 Armed Men Who Robbed South LA Taco Stand

Police are searching for 2 armed men who robbed an LA taco stand. Authorities say there's been 7 similar incidents reported since May 1.

SOUTH LOS ANGELES -- Police are searching for two armed men who robbed a taco stand in South LA's Florence neighborhood Wednesday night. The robbery occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of East Manchester and Towne avenues.

The suspects were described as two male Hispanics who were in their 20s and stood about 5 feet, 8 inches tall. One was wearing all black, according to police, while the other was wearing a blue sweater and black pants.

Both had guns, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed.

Authorities said there have been seven similar incidents reported since May 1. Police have said they believe that it’s not just one person targeting street vendors, rather a group of four or five.

So far, no arrests have been made in any of the cases.
