Police Search For Killers Of Men, 18 And 20, After Exhausting Leads: LAPD
The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public's help finding the people responsible for the June shooting of two men.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Police on Monday asked for the public's help finding the people wanted for killing two men in downtown Los Angeles in June.
Clarence Simpson, 20, and Christian Hart, 18, were shot in the area of Maple Avenue and 12th Street, near Santee Alley, on June 2 at around 12:15 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
"The motive for the homicide is unknown, and Central Bureau detectives have exhausted investigative leads but have been unable to make any significant progress in the investigation," police said.

The city and LAPD "are seeking to provide Simpson’s and Hart’s family with justice and closure for the loss of their family member and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the persons responsible for this senseless murder," police said.
The City Council approved a $75,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for Simpson's and Hart's killings.

Police released photos of two vehicles involved in the shooting: a 2009-2012 white Audi A4 with tinted windows and a 2011-2016 gold BMW 5 series with tinted windows.
