At Risk Missing: Young Mother, Baby Last Seen In LA County
Authorities are asking for help finding a 17-year-old mom and her one-year-old who were last seen Thursday.

PALMDALE, CA — Authorities and the loved ones of a missing teenage girl and her baby are asking for help bringing them home safely. The pair are considered at-risk, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Luz Martinez Cifuentes, 17 and Maydeline Catalan Martinez, 1, were last seen Thursday at 2:50 p.m. on the 16900 block of East Avenue O, according to the sheriff's department.
"There is concern for their well-being," the sheriff's department announced.

Luz is 5 feet, 5 inches-tall and weighs 115 pounds. She has straight brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green sweatshirt, a tan jacket and black pants. Her baby is 2 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 22 pounds with brown straight hair and brown eyes. Maydeline has a scar on her right pinky. She was last seen wearing a hot pink puffer jacket, according to detectives..
Anyone with information about the pair's whereabouts is urged to call Detective Zimmer of the Lancaster Sheriff's Station or the on- duty watch commander at 661-948-8466.
