'300’ Star Gerard Butler Quietly Lists His L.A. Home for Sale—or Rent

The "300" star quietly put his Los Feliz home on the market.

Hunky actor Gerard Butler, best known for flexing his abundant muscles in “300,” is quietly offering up his Los Angeles home for lease ($15,000 a month) or purchase ($4.4 million), Variety reports.

The Spanish Revival–esque home sits on a hillside in the Los Feliz neighborhood, and was picked by the Scottish star in 2007 for $3.25 million. While it’s not officially on the market, the $4.4 million asking price would place it among the 10 most expensive homes currently for sale in the 90027 ZIP Code.

The three-story, 4,500-square-foot home has four bedrooms and four baths. It features a turreted entry, beamed ceilings, and a flat backyard with swimming pool and spa.

Butler, 46, studied to be a lawyer before pursuing acting. At 30, he moved to L.A. and won parts in “Dracula 2000” and “Tomb Raider 2″ before rocketing to A-list status with his role as King Leonidas in “300.”
