Serial Butt-Sniffer Caught In The Act Years Before This Week's Arrest: Police
An LA County man with a history of sniffing women's buttocks was caught again two years after reportedly appearing in a viral video.
BURBANK, CA — A registered sex offender who was arrested this week after sniffing a woman's buttocks in a Burbank department store had been caught doing the same thing two years ago, according to police.
Calese Carron Crowder, 38, of Glendale was arrested Tuesday after being spotted roaming through the women's department at Nordstrom Rack in Burbank, where he followed a woman, crouched near her and sniffed her buttocks, according to the Burbank Police Department.
Crowder, a registered sex offender currently on parole, has a history of similar offenses in Glendale and Burbank dating back to 2021, according to police.

Crowder made national headlines in August 2023 after he was caught on video sniffing a woman's behind at a Barnes & Noble store in Burbank. The video was shared on TikTok and went viral, KTLA reported.
He was also suspected in several prowling crimes and was arrested the same month on suspicion he was peeping into a family's home in Glendale, KTLA reported.

He was eventually released from custody in those cases due to jail overcrowding, but was re-arrested after he failed other register with police, according to the station.

Additionally, the wife of former Los Angeles Lakers forward Robert Horry accused Crowder of stalking their then-teenage daughter over a decade ago.
Crowder is in police custody on a charge of loitering with intent to commit a crime. His bail was set at $100,000.
