SigAlert: Big Rig Crash Kills 1, Injures Another, Snarls 60 Freeway
The crash shut down several lanes of the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway as well as the tranisiton to the Orange (57) Freeway for hours.
DIAMOND BAR, CA — A fatal crash involving two big rigs shut down the Pomona (60) Freeway and the transition to the Orange (57) Freeway for hours Thursday morning.
The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert expected to last until roughly 11 a.m. Thursday from the eastbound 60 and the northbound 57 Freeway.
One person died at the scene and another person was injured, according to authorities.

The crash occurred around 4 a.m. and closed the number 2, 3, and 4 lanes of the eastbound 60 Freeway at the northbound 57 Freeway as well as the connector throughout the morning rush hour, according to the CHP.
