SigAlert: Fatal Bg Rig Crash Backs Up 10/57 Freeways
The California Highway Patrol issued an hour-long SigAlert for the westbound 10 connector to the Orange Freeway shortly after 9:30 a.m.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A crash involving multiple big rigs on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in the Pomona area killed one person and backed up traffic for miles on multiple freeways Thursday morning.
The California Highway Patrol issued an hour-long SigAlert for the westbound 10 connector to the Orange Freeway shortly after 9:30 a.m.
The crash occurred at about 8:40 a.m. on the westbound side of the 10 Freeway at the northbound 57 Freeway connector. According to the CHP, the two trucks collided, blocking multiple lanes of the 10 and the transition.

It wasn't immediately clear how many people were injured, but the Los Angeles County coroner's office was called to investigate. Commuters were advised to find alternative routes or expect delays.
