SigAlert: Pedestrian Struck On 118 Freeway Off-Ramp

SAN FERNANDO, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed early Tuesday morning on a Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The man was struck shortly before 6 a.m. on the Glenoaks Boulevard off in the San Fernando Area. He died at the scene.

The ongoing investigation shut down the off-ramp to traffic, according to the CHP. The CHP issued a SigAlert for the area that was expected to last until after 9 a.m.

Authorities have not released the man's identity, pending notification of his family.
