SigAlert: Police Shut Down 710 Freeway lanes

The two-lane closures was expected to last an hour and backed up traffic in the Bell Gardens area.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police activity triggered multiple lanes closures on the northbound side of the Beach (710) Freeway Wednesday morning, and commuters were advised to seek alternate routes.

The California Highway Patrol has issued a SigAlert for the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway at Florence Avenue in Bell Gardens shortly after 9 a.m. Two northbound lanes were closed for the police activity, which was expected to last into the 10 O'clock hour.
