Stone Street Makes Its West Coast Debut
New café, bar and entertainment space in West Hollywood

Stone Street, a cute new café, bar and entertainment space has recently opened in West Hollywood on Melrose.

Restaurateur Dave Oz from Stone Street New York and Bathtub Gin New York has teamed up with Laura Parkening and Joel David Moore to open this WeHo coffee shop, all day café and bar.

The original Stone Street Coffee Company opened in New York in 2010. The new LA concept has been expanded to house a hybrid space offering artisanal coffee; breakfast, lunch and dinner; signature cocktails and a back patio al fresco entertainment/brunch spot.

The all day menu from Chef John Sheffy features American dishes with a New York twist. Appetizers include oysters, olives, burrata with fruit, Caesar salad, roasted mushrooms, fried calamari and chicken tenders. Main courses include pasta with cheese and pepper or a mushroom ragu; the house burger with Gruyere cheese and onions; roasted Mary’s chicken with seasonal vegetables, potato hash and a chili lime vinaigrette and steak and fries. They also have a nice assortment of flatbreads including mushroom with onion jam, margherita, bbq chicken, meat lovers and a pear gorgonzola. A goat’s milk crème caramel and a vanilla espresso affogato are dessert options.

Diners can also enjoy a great cup of coffee with beans sourced from all over the world and roasted in small batches at the Stone Street Coffee Company in Brooklyn.

There’s also a wide selection of craft cocktails from Brendan Bartley, including the Walking in LA with gin, lemon, lime, orange flower water and oat milk; Rose in Harlem with grapefruit, vodka, Riesling, Brovo Amaro and hibiscus; and Welcome to Hollywood with vodka, strawberry and lemon, among other libations.


The interior space is cozy with comfy sofas, unfinished ceilings and a window mural of the Brooklyn Bridge. In addition to tables and sofas, there is also bar seating.
The floor-to-ceiling windows open to the patio to provide seamless indoor and outdoor seating options.

The pretty outdoor 1,500 square foot patio is perfect for weekend brunch with lounge seating, tables and lush greenery. Evening entertainment includes comedy on Wednesdays, live music on Thursday nights and a Sunday disco brunch.
Stone Street is perfect for an intimate dinner or weekend brunch, to catch up over coffee or cocktails, or to enjoy entertainment on the alfresco back garden.
Located at 7174 Melrose Avenue, open Monday/Tuesday 8am to 3pm; Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 8am to 11pm; Saturday 9am to 11pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm.
