HACIENDA HEIGHTS, CA — A suspect was shot and killed by deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's office after a stabbing at a home in Hacienda Heights, authorities told ABC 7 on Monday morning.

The shooting happened near Dawn Haven and Colima roads, though additional details were not available, the outlet reported.

KTLA reported that a shooting took place on the 16700 block of Dawn Haven Road after deputies responded to a reported assault, according to the sheriff's office.
