VERNON, CA — A 19-year-old man died Sunday night after getting trapped in a machine at a frozen burrito factory in Vernon, according to multiple reports by news outlets.
The death happened around 9:30 p.m. at Tina's Burritos in the 2600 block of Vernon Avenue, according to a report by KTLA5.
The 19-year-old, who worked as part of the sanitation team, was cleaning the meat grinding machine when it activated and sucked him in, according to a report by ABC7.

Coworkers heard him yelling for help and tried to turn off the machine, but were unable to do so, according to the reports. The man died at the scene.
