Uncool Opens in Larchmont Village
New smashburger concept eatery offers takeout, al fresco and indoor dining

Uncool, a new smashburger concept from Blurred Limes Hospitality Co., has opened in Larchmont.

The modern and relaxed open design of the new burger outpost provides indoor and outdoor space for diners. Dishes center around inventive takes on the smashburger concept with unique flavor combinations and ingredients alongside a thin pressed patty. Guests can choose from the house patty with grass fed beef chuck and short rib or the Impossible vegan patty.

The new restaurant’s special “Uncool” burger features a grass-fed beef patty, American cheese, onion jam, pickles, a parmesan-mozzarella cheese crisp and Uncool sauce in a potato bun. Diners can also glam up burgers with house-made maple-glazed pastrami bacon, egg, hash browns and a cheese mayo infused with black truffle. Their vegan version includes an Impossible patty with vegan cheese and truffle island sauce, lettuce, onion jam and tomato. Additionally, Uncool includes French fries, onion rights, and fried chicken sandwiches. All burgers and sandwiches can also be ordered in a salad or bowl form with pickled veggies and bamboo rice.

Uncool is also serving all-day breakfast with a breakfast burrito with cheese crisp and yuzu chipotle aioli with honey butter fried chicken or pastrami bacon. There is also a vegan option with vegan sausage, dairy free gouda and maple syrup.
Their Feel Good Combo includes a choice of a burger, drink, fries and holographic sticker with $1 from every meal donated to STOMP Out Bullying.

Diners can add a sweet treat to their meal with seasonal fruit hand pies, Mexican Coke and vegan ice cream milkshakes in matcha rose, vanilla bean and cookies and cream.
The inside design resembles a warehouse with cement painted walls and fluorescent light fixtures. The bar seating area houses ceramic light fixtures and a long rectangular communal table. The back area offers a beautiful al fresco patio with a long communal table surrounded by bar seating encased by a wall of frosted glass adapted from the MetLife building in New York. We really loved the outdoor patio area where diners can find an intimate nook to enjoy Uncool’s delicious burgers and shakes.

Uncool is located at 139 ½ N. Larchmont Boulevard in Los Angeles, open 7 days a week Monday – Thursday 11am to 11pm, Friday – Sunday 10am to midnight, website is www.uncool.fun.
