Video: Body Surfing Seal Lions Put On A Show
Seal Lions showed body surfers how it's done recently in Southern California.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Even the most territorial of surfers would have to make room for these body surfers who recently taught a master class in the sport at Silver Strand Beach in Ventura County
Channel Islands Harbor posted a video of body surfers catching waves in on Nov. 15., noting "Just a few pros out at Silver Strand Beach in Oxnard this morning showing us how it’s done."
The "pros" were a group of sea lions riding the waves all the way to the shoreline and captivating tens of thousands in the process. The video quickly drew 84,000 likes on the Channel Islands Harbor Instagram page.

"Dang couple shredders out there," responded one fan.
"What fins are you using bro?" asked another poster on Instagram.

"Yeah bro I seen one ride a wave get barreled and all for like solid 20 seconds in Alaska," added another.
"Locals only," wrote one person.
"The real locals," responded another.
