The sight came with a loud boom for some and could be seen from the Pacific Ocean to Arizona. Did you see it?
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — Another set of Starlink internet satellites were launched into the earth's lower orbit Saturday from Vandenberg Space Force Station, creating a light show that could be seen from the Pacific Ocean to Arizona.
SpaceX launched A Falcon 9 rocket carrying 22 Starlink satellites shortly after 5: 30 p.m. and its first stage fell back to earth less than ten minutes after liftoff, touching down on the waiting drone ship "Of Course I Still Love You, according to SpaceX.
"This is the 11th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched USSF-62, OneWeb Launch 20, and eight Starlink missions," the aerospace company announced.

Ahead of the launch, residents were warned of the possibility that residents from San Luis Obispo to Ventura County could hear a sonic boom from the launch.
The very first batch of 60 Starlink satellites were launched in 2019, according to NASA. The launches have increasingly become a routine site and sound in Southern California.
