Woman Killed In Irwindale Shooting

IRWINDALE, CA — A woman was shot and killed Tuesday morning in Irwindale.

The shooting was reported at 1:34 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Arrow Highway and North Irwindale Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, whose homicide unit was assisting Irwindale police in the shooting investigation.

The victim, whose name and age were not immediately disclosed, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

No suspect information or details about what led up to the shooting were immediately available.
