Woman Pinned Between Metro Train, Platform In Los Angeles: LAFD

The woman was taken for treatment in "at least" serious condition, officials say.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A woman was pinned between the platform and a Metro train in Los Angeles Wednesday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The LAFD alert said that the incident happened on the Gold Line in Boyle Heights at 9:49 p.m.; the woman, 50, was extricated by firefighters and was transported for treatment in "at least" serious condition, officials said.

No other injuries were reported, according to the LAFD.
