World Series Champs Snag Cy Young Winner With $182M Contract: Report

The Dodgers reportedly signed two-time Cy Young Winner Blake Snell to their pitching lineup.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Bolstered by last year's off-season blockbuster signings, the Dodgers did it again Tuesday, signing two-time Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell to a five-year deal, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The Dodgers plan to defend their title with Snell, in a five-year, $182-million deal pending a physical, the newspaper reported.

The pitching ace announced the deal with a photoshoped Instagram post of himself in Dodgers jersey and the caption "LA."

The team hopes to make picthing the Dodgers' strength in 2025 thanks to Snell and Shohei Ohtani's return to the mound alongside Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

Snell, a one-time all-star left-hander, won the Cy Young last year with the Padres. He's one of the biggest names in free agency this summer.
