Young Boy Found Dead In Los Angeles County Dumpster
The boy — who was as young as 3 — was found dead in a dumpster over the weekend.
LOS ANGELES, CA — The body of a young boy, possibly 3 or 4 years old, was discovered Saturday in the San Fernando Valley.
Officers were dispatched to the 8200 block of Van Nuys Boulevard in Panorama City, just south of Roscoe Boulevard, about 7 a.m. Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division.
At the scene — an empty parking lot — officers found the boy in a dumpster, KTLA reported.

“They found the 3-4-year-old by the dumpster,” one neighborhood resident told the station. “What I’m trying to figure out, they lock those gates, so who’s going to get in there?”
Detectives from the LAPD's Child Abuse Unit were assigned the investigation, according to Officer Kevin Terzes.

LAPD Detective Meghan Aguilar told KTLA on Saturday the investigation was ongoing and the child could have died from natural causes or abuse.
