1 Injured, Traffic Stalled In Crash On 405 Freeway In Seal Beach

The crash was reported at 12:09 p.m. on the freeway traveling south near Seal Beach Boulevard.

SEAL BEACH, CA — Drivers, be aware: California Highway Patrol authorities issued a SigAlert for a part of the State route 405 freeway traveling south in Seal Beach after a car crash left one injured Tuesday afternoon.

The status of the injured person is not currently known.

The crash was reported at 12:09 p.m. Tuesday on the freeway near Seal Beach Boulevard, authorities said. The crash resulted in three lanes on the freeway being shut down by authorities, stalling traffic on the freeway for miles.

The SigAlert was issued at 12:30 p.m. and is expected to last a half hour.

Motorists were advised to steer clear from the area while the SigAlert is in place.
