10-Car Pileup Shuts Down 405 Freeway In Orange County

The crash was reported on the northbound side of the California State route 405 Freeway during rush hour traffic, authorities said.

WESTMINSTER, CA — A 10-car crash on the California State route 405 Freeway shut down the northbound side of the freeway Sunday, authorities said.

The crash was reported at around 1 p.m. in Westminster and resulted in officials shutting down all lanes on the freeway temporarily, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The amount of injuries was not immediately known.
