A 25-year-old Buena Park resident was arrested for allegedly breaking into homes and intending to commit sexual assault, according to police

BUENA PARK, CA—Authorities arrested a 25-year-old Buena Park man who allegedly broke into two homes with the intention of committing sexual assault, Buena Park police said. Dylan Reed Jaquette was arrested Wednesday morning in Cypress, according to Buena Park police Sgt. Mike Lovchik. Jaquette was booked on suspicion of burglary with the intent to commit sexual assault, according to police.
Police boosted patrols in the Malvern Avenue and Country Club Drive area because of last month's break-ins, according to Lovchik. The first crime occurred just after 4 a.m. July 27, and the other at about 3 a.m. July 28, according to authorities.
In both cases, the intruder broke in while residents were asleep, and it appears the suspect got in through unlocked doors or windows, Lovchik said.
