Construction Begins To Enhance Seal Beach Park
The community park will be getting a brand-new playground with rubber surfacing, new fitness machines and a shaded bench area.
SEAL BEACH, CA — Construction began Monday at Heather Park in Seal Beach for planned improvements and updates to enhance the community space.
During the construction period, crews will install a brand-new playground with rubber surfacing, new fitness machines, a shaded bench area and other improvements. For safety reasons, certain areas of the park will be closed.
Work will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday until completion in early November.

"We understand that construction can be disruptive and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our community park," the Public Works Department said in a statement.
