Emergency Preparedness, a Ribbon Cutting and Preschool Storytime
Events today and this week in the Seal Beach and Los Alamitos areas.
1. Today at 11:30 a.m., the Los Alamitos Branch Library will host Preschool Storytime. Children ages 2-5 and their parents are invited for fun stories, silly songs and a craft. Get more information here.
2. On Tuesday, Oct. 1 the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting at the new Tropical Juice, 101 Main St. #N in Seal Beach.
3. Walmart is hiring about 200 employees for its new store in Garden Grove. Get more information in our story here.
4. Save the date! On Thursday, Oct. 10 at 6:30 p.m. a Rossmoor Town Hall meeting will be held to discuss emergency preparedness. The meeting will be held at Rush Park, 3021 Blume Dr., Los Alamitos.
5. Today will be mostly sunny, with highs around 73 near the coast, and 80-85 inland, according to the National Weather Service.
