Here's Where To Dump Your Bulky Trash In Seal Beach
The event will take place on Saturday, May 10, at the Public Works Yard in Seal Beach.
SEAL BEACH, CA — Have bulky waste and nowhere to throw it away? Seal Beach has the solution, hosting "Dump Day" next month.
The free event will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10. Republic Services, Goodwill, and the Orange County Conservation Corps will be at the event to help collect items.
People can take their bulky household trash that is too large for residential garbage bins, such as mattresses, furniture and toys to the Public Works Yard, located at 1776 Adolfo Lopez Dr. in Seal Beach, city officials said in a statement this week.

Items deemed salvageable will be kept out of a landfill and donated to Goodwill, city officials said. People will also be able to directly donate new and gently used clothing to Goodwill on-site.
The following items, meanwhile, will not be accepted at the event:

- Hazardous items, such as batteries, paints, oils, chemicals, pesticides and flurorescent lights)
- Tires and treated wood
- Concrete, dirt, rocks, brick, sand or asphalt
