Holiday Season Arrives At Disneyland Nov. 12: What To Expect
What can you expect this year in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure? Expect some magical transformations to ring in your season.

ANAHEIM, CA — Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will undergo a magical transformation from Halloween time to Holiday magic. Starting Nov. 12, and running through Jan. 9, expect to see a beautiful Yuletide display from decor to seasonal transformations of a few of the resort's favorite attractions.
Yes, the enormous Christmas Tree will be there upon entry to the resort on Main Street U.S.A. The tree is decked with 1,800 ornaments and is a classic holiday photo backdrop.

Sleeping Beauty's Castle will be all dressed up for winter during the day and will glow at night during the Believe...In Holiday Magic Fireworks spectacular.
One change to the show's finale is the new "kiss goodnight" moment, from several beloved characters getting ready for Santa, dressed in their jammies as they wave goodby from the railroad station at Town Square.

"Many beloved traditions return providing cheerful entertainment, yuletide treats, specialty merchandise, sparkling dŽecor and seasonal transformations of select attractions," a spokesperson for the park says. "At the entrance to Fantasyland, the holiday magic will shine brightly each evening when Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle begins to sparkle with light and music fills the air illuminating the night in an enchanted wintertime spectacle."
The Haunted Mansion Holiday will continue into January, though the resort will send the villains back on vacation until next Halloween time. Instead, they will bring out "A Christmas Fantasy" parade with sights and scents of the season.

Around the park, look for Mickey and Minnie in some new festive looks of their own, sporting stocking caps and scarves with holiday colors. Also, look for princesses and their counterparts around the park, dressed in seasonal finery.

At Disney California Adventure, enjoy the soaring Christmas tree near Carthay Circle.

See the Disney Festival of Holidays, fanfares of Christmas/Navidad as well as Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day.

Characters put on a "street party show" with folklorico dancers, mariachis, samba and more.
The most exciting transformation, as always, is in Cars Land, where snow will drape the land's entrance along with cars-themed decor. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is transformed into his "Jingle Jamboree," and Luigi's dancing cars will be playing "Joy To The Whirl."

At the Disneyland Resort hotel Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, expect to see the beautiful holiday tree and giant gingerbread house.
The holidays may be magical at the parks, but ticket prices are back on the rise, Patch has learned. Ticket sales have increased for park hopper passes, and one of the top tier Magic Keys (formerly known as Annual Passes) has been sold out, according to reports.
