LOS ALAMITOS, CA — Residents are invited to a block party Thursday to help "reimagine Pine Street," Los Alamitos officials said.

The party is the start of Los Alamitos' Parklet Series, a series of "events, attractions and scheduled programming" held through the middle of May, officials said. The Parklet Series will be on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The event will run along a portion of Pine Street from Florista Street.
