An Orange County school board member was arrested after he sent "inappropriate sexual messages" to a minor, authorities said.

BREA, CA — An Orange County school board member was arrested after he sent "inappropriate sexual messages" to a minor, authorities said.

Christopher Becerra, 42, was arrested Thursday for possession of child pornography, molesting a child, and falsifying evidence or bringing or intimidating a witness, according to the Brea Police Department.

Becerra, a member of the Brea Olinda Unified School District Board of Eduction, is alleged by police to have other victims who were "located and identified" during the investigation.

"Due to Mr. Becerra's access to children, detectives believe there may be additional victims," police said.
