Los Alamitos-Rossmoor Library Reopening Soon: Report
The brand was closed in February 2023 to make much-needed upgrades and enhancements to the building and facilities.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — After over a year of renovations, the Los Alamitos-Rossmoor Library is expected to reopen this summer, according to Orange County Public Libraries officials.
OCPL Marketing and Communications Manager Danilo Seranilla told Voice of OC that rennovations to the branch include energy-efficient lighting, quiet study rooms, a new program room, a teen lounge area and enhancements to the parking lot.
The library's closure began on Feb. 27, 2023 in order for the county to address ADA standards and updating the facility. Originally, officials projected the rennovations would be complete by spring 2024.
