The first day of school in Los Alamitos Unified is Wednesday, Aug. 14.

- Veteran's Day: Nov. 11
- Thanksgiving break: Nov. 25-29
- Winter break: Dec 23 - Jan. 3
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan. 20
- President's Week: Feb. 17-21
- Elementary Conference Days: April 1-2
- Spring break: April 21-25
- Memorial Day: May 26
- Last day: June 5
