Police Investigate After Two Shooting Deaths In Huntington Beach
Police arrived at the home at 6 p.m. Sunday on a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, the Huntington Beach Police Department said.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A man and a woman were fatally shot in Huntington Beach in an apparent murder-suicide, and an investigation was underway Monday, authorities said.
Officers were sent to the 9500 block of Kensington Drive about 6 p.m. Sunday on a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, the Huntington Beach Police Department said.
"On arrival, officers located a male adult and a female adult suffering from gunshot wounds," police said in a statement. "The male was declared deceased at the scene. Paramedics transported the female to a local trauma center, where she later succumbed to her injuries."

Authorities withheld their names, pending notification of their relatives.
"There is no threat to the public or community," police said. Other details were not released by investigators.
