Seal Beach Police Department Installs Digital Surveillance Trailer

The trailer was installed in light of recent local burglaries.

The Seal Beach Police Department parked a portable trailer equipped with elevated digital surveillance cameras in the 4600 block of Guava, Seal Beach, on Nov. 7 in response to several nearby residential burglaries.

The equipment was purchased through a federal grant. It runs through battery power, stores to an internal memory drive and can be set up anywhere.

“This is an example of the Seal Beach Police Department making the best use of county assets and technology to enhance public safety,” Sgt. Phil Gonshak of SBPD said.
